About Kinze Healthcare
Kinze Healthcare International Consulting Co., Ltd. is a cross-border medical coordination company based in Hong Kong. We help international patients reach doctors at mainland China’s public Grade-A tertiary hospitals, and we handle the parts that make that difficult — the registration, the language, the visa, the payment, and everything that happens afterwards.
We have worked with patients from 30 countries since 2024. Most come from Southeast Asia, the Gulf, and Russia/CIS.
Why we
started Kinze
In 2023 a friend of mine was told he had lung cancer. I’ll call him Daniel.
Daniel is Singaporean, and Singapore has some of the finest cancer medicine in the world. That was never the problem. Singapore gave him two doors. Behind one was the subsidised public system — genuinely excellent, and six months to his next step. Behind the other was private care, which could start the following week. He had a family. He had a mortgage.
One door had a price he couldn’t pay. The other had a wait his tumour wasn’t going to respect.
He sat between them for a month and told nobody, including me.
I found out almost by accident. Then I made a phone call — someone who knew a doctor at Sun Yat-sen University Cancer Center in Guangzhou. I sent his scans on a Tuesday. The answer came back in three days. Two weeks later he was admitted.
Those two weeks weren’t medicine. They were a visa, an invitation letter, a registration system that spoke only Chinese, and a deposit no foreign card would pay. I did all of it slowly and badly, because I had never done any of it before and there was nobody to ask.
Then he had the operation. Then he began to get better.
I remember the call from his wife more clearly than anything else from that year. Not what she said. Just that she could speak at all.
Somewhere in his follow-up trips I stopped thinking of Daniel as unlucky and me as clever. What happened to him is the ordinary arithmetic of an ordinary patient across Southeast Asia: wait, or pay. People in his position have always looked west, where the medicine is superb, the bill is ruinous, and the waiting becomes its own diagnosis. Almost nobody looks at China, four hours away, where the surgeon has performed that operation more times than most Western surgeons will in a career.
The gap was never medical. It was a visa, a language, a payment system, and someone willing to pick up the phone.
So we built the company I wish Daniel had been able to call.

What actually stops people
China’s strongest doctors work in public tertiary hospitals, and those hospitals were never built with foreign patients in mind. Registration runs through a Chinese-language app.
An appointment with a well-known professor can be gone in the time it takes to read the screen.
The person at the front desk probably doesn’t speak English. Payment assumes you have a Chinese bank account, which you don’t.
None of that is medicine. But it stops most people long before they get anywhere near a doctor.
How we make money, since you're going to wonder
We charge you a fee. It’s published on our packages page. That fee is the only money we make from your case.
We don’t take referral payments from hospitals. We mention it because it isn’t the norm — a lot of companies in this business earn on the back end, from the hospital, which means the hospital they recommend for you is the one that’s paying them. We’d rather you just pay us and know exactly whose side we’re on. Your hospital bill goes to the hospital, at the hospital’s published rate, and we never touch it.
