Medical Travel to China: Packages and Prices
Most companies in this business won’t show you any price until you’ve handed over your phone number, your diagnosis and an afternoon. We do it differently. The online consultation is a fixed, published price — it’s below, and it starts at $99. The travel packages we quote to your actual case, because an honest number for your trip depends on your condition, your city, how long you’ll stay and who’s coming with you. What we won’t do is invent a figure that changes the moment you ask a real question.
The four
packages
Two things, priced two ways. The consultation is a fixed price set only by how complex your case is — $99 to $699 — because a thirty-minute call about a tooth is not a thirty-minute call about a tumour. The three travel packages are quoted individually, because the honest cost of your trip depends on things we can’t know until we know your case. The consultation fee is credited against whichever travel package you choose, so it’s never money spent twice.
Consult — from $99, priced by case complexity. For deciding whether any of this is worth doing, before you spend a cent on travel. Includes: a video consultation with a named specialist, your records translated and reviewed beforehand, a medical interpreter in the call, and a written English opinion you keep. Credited in full against any travel package. The only tier that is purely online, and the only one with a fixed published price.
Essential — quoted to your case. For confident travellers who want the medical access, not the hand-holding. Includes everything in Consult, plus: specialist appointment and expedited registration, invitation letter and visa documentation, a written treatment plan and hospital cost estimate in English, and your records organised for the hospital. You arrange your own flights, accommodation and local transport. We don't meet you at the airport — by design, because you told us you don't need that.
Complete — quoted to your case. For most people, and anyone coming to China for the first time. Includes everything in Essential, plus the support that begins once you land: airport pick-up and transfers, accommodation arranged near your hospital, a medical interpreter beside you at every appointment, appointment scheduling, mobile-payment and SIM set-up, and a coordinator reachable around the clock through your stay. The line between Essential and Complete is simple — Essential gets you the appointment, Complete gets you a person.
Signature — quoted to your case. For patients travelling with family, serious diagnoses, or anyone who wants one named person beside them the whole way. Includes everything in Complete, plus: a dedicated coordinator with you in person throughout — yours, not shared — private car and driver, and full arrangements for accompanying family, including their accommodation and airport transfers. The line between Complete and Signature is also simple — Complete gives you a coordinator on call, Signature gives you one at your side.
One more thing, so the tiers make sense: the medical care is identical in all four. A Signature patient and an Essential patient see the same surgeon at the same hospital for the same operation at the same hospital price. What you’re choosing between tiers is not better medicine — it’s how much of the journey around the medicine you want us to carry. Nobody pays more for a better doctor here. That isn’t how it works, and we wouldn’t run it that way.
Why we quote instead of publish, for the travel packages: a fixed price on a page can only be honest if the thing it buys never changes. A trip to China does change — a longer stay, a second opinion you decide to add, a family member who comes after all. We’d rather give you a real number for your actual trip, in writing, before you owe us anything, than a headline figure we’d have to walk back later. The quote doesn’t move once you’ve agreed it, unless you ask us to change what’s in it.
What's never included
This is the most important section on this page. Anyone can write an inclusions list — it’s the fun part. We’d rather you read the exclusions first and decide with your eyes open than discover them at a payment counter in a language you can’t read, in a week when you have other things on your mind.
How we make money, since you're going to wonder
We charge you a fee. It’s published on our packages page. That fee is the only money we make from your case.
We don’t take referral payments from hospitals. We mention it because it isn’t the norm — a lot of companies in this business earn on the back end, from the hospital, which means the hospital they recommend for you is the one that’s paying them. We’d rather you just pay us and know exactly whose side we’re on. Your hospital bill goes to the hospital, at the hospital’s published rate, and we never touch it.
How the money works
You pay us: our fee. The consultation is a fixed published price; your travel package is the written quote we give you before you commit. Either way, one clear number, agreed before you pay it.
You pay the hospital: consultations, diagnostics, surgery, inpatient care, medication — at the hospital’s own published rates, billed directly by them to you. We give you their written itemised estimate before you fly, and it doesn’t move without your written agreement.
We receive from the hospital: nothing. Not a referral fee, not a percentage, not a rebate at year end.
