What every condition page tells you
Whether China is right for this, first. Not last, and not after the price. If your condition is better handled at home, that’s the first thing on the page, before we’ve asked you for anything.
What the pathway actually looks like — day by day, from the moment you land to the moment you fly home, with the parts that take longer than you’d like marked as such.
Who would treat you. Named specialists, with rank, hospital, department and annual case volume.
What it costs, as two separate numbers: what the hospital charges, and what we charge. We never blend them into one figure, because the moment you can’t tell them apart is the moment you can’t tell whether we’re working for you.
How long the wait is. The real number, whether that’s four days or five months.
And what your alternative costs, so you have something to compare against.
What China is genuinely good at
Speed, second. A work-up that takes months elsewhere is routinely finished in days. Biopsy, staging, imaging and a multidisciplinary review inside two weeks of landing is normal here, not exceptional.
And one campus. Diagnostics, surgery, radiotherapy, chemotherapy and rehabilitation under one roof, with no referral gap between them. Nobody loses your file in the handover, because there is no handover.
How the money works
Your hospital bill goes to the hospital, at the hospital’s published rate. We never touch it and we take no commission from it.
Our fee is published on the packages page and is the only money we make from your case. Two numbers, two recipients, and you can always see which is which.
When China isn't the answer
If you need emergency care, don’t get on a plane. If your treatment is available at home and covered where you live, the flight is buying you nothing. If your condition needs months of close follow-up, a doctor who lives in your city will serve you better than the best surgeon in Guangzhou, because they’ll still be there in March.
We put that section above the price on every page. A company that only tells you why to come is a company that’s selling, and you should read it the way you’d read any other advertisement.
